Along with Some Women
Scriptures: Luke 8:1-3, Romans 16:1-5, Phillipians 4:2-3, Mark 16:9-11, John 20:11-18, Luke 24:1-12
“Along with some women…” Jesus didn’t only take the Twelve — He took women also. These were women who had been delivered, healed, and forgiven. Religion had labeled them unclean, but Jesus called them followers. They had a part in His Message and His Ministry.
1. Jesus Intentionally Included Women in His Ministry
- God mentions these women by name in His Word. They mattered.
2. Men and Women are both necessary for ministry and they are both ordained by God to do ministry.
-Women were a part of His plan and a part of His ministry
3. Jesus used women to carry His message. Their voice matters.
-From Mary the Mother of Jesus to Mary Magdalene they carried the Message of Jesus Christ, the Son of God to others.
